Silver Ingot
Silver Ingots are metal ingots added in Caverns & Chasms refined from silver ore. They can be used to craft various items.
Obtaining
Silver ingots are mainly obtained by by smelting raw silver, Silver Ore and Soul Silver Ore. Silver ores are more likely to generate in cold biomes like windswept forests and kousa jungles. They generate especially frequently in the ice spikes biome.

Usage
Silver ingots are colder, more damaging counterparts to gold. Silver can create many items superficially similar to their gold counterparts.

However, both silver and gold can create items with no clear parallel from each other. For example, gold can be used to augment food and barter with piglins, while silver can be used to craft intricate weaponries such as kunai and large arrows.
Crafting Ingredient
Repairing
Silver helmets, chestplates, leggings, boots, and silver pickaxes, hoes, shovels, swords, axes, and knives can be repaired using a silver ingot in an anvil.
Beacon
Although silver ingots are not shown on the beacon GUI, they are valid payments to activate a beacon. The player must select one of the available powers, and then insert an ingot in the item slot.
