Usage

Damageless explosions

TMT blocks are primed by the same conditions as normal TNT blocks, including being detonated by other TNT and TMT blocks. Primed TMT explodes much sooner than regular TNT, as TMT takes only 30 ticks (1.5 seconds) to explode while regular TNT takes 80 ticks (4 seconds) to explode. If detonated by another explosion, its fuse time will be a random number between 3 and 9 ticks (0.15-0.45 seconds). Apart from exploding faster than regular TNT, primed TMT behaves the same as primed TNT.

Unlike other explosions, a TMT explosion deals no damage to entities and does not destroy blocks. It does, however, propel entities away from it with the same force as a regular TNT explosion. This makes it a useful alternative to regular TNT in TNT player launchers, as it is able to launch entities without damaging them. Although a TMT explosion has no effect on blocks, it will cause nearby TNT and TMT blocks to detonate as any other explosion would. Visually a TMT explosion looks identical to normal explosions and it makes the same sound.
